Though dominated by rental units, the area hosts a handful of new and recently updated high-rise condo towers. Two bedrooms range from $1.5 Million to $3.7 Million, depending on square footage and views. Most of these full-service developments–like Madison House–concentrate around 5th Avenue. The 805-foot-tall tower has a large plunge pool, an expansive co-working club and a children's art room. “Everything here is about volume and height; so you get great views Uptown and Downtown,” says Inzirillo, who heads up sales for the building.

Madison Square Garden and The Shed at Hudson Yards are some of New York’s leading cultural venues hosting sports events, top-billed concerts, and international art fairs. Over the next decade, the Penn District project will transform Penn Station, Madison Square Garden and surrounding city blocks with new mixed-use commercial and residential buildings. Though a significant improvement to the area, it will also require years of construction, which can sometimes be noisy, unsightly and obstructive.
