Marshfield Clinic Health System has served northern Wisconsin for over a century
Marshfield, Wisconsin, is perhaps best known as home to the flagship facilities of the Marshfield Clinic Health System, which has grown from its humble origins in 1916 to serve communities across northern Wisconsin and employ over 1,200 doctors and other health professionals. Beyond its growing healthcare industry, Marshfield offers highly rated schools and plentiful outdoor recreation. “This is truly a community with so much to offer for its size,” says Sue Decker, a broker and owner of Brock & Decker Real Estate. “People genuinely smile at each other, community events are celebrated passionately, and you can always find a helping hand when you need it. I am proud to call Marshfield home.” The Marshfield Medical Center, a hospital, and the Laird Center for Medical Research are both in the city. More growth is coming. “We’re excited for the merger with Sanford Health,” Decker says. “They will be able to advance our medical services and care and accelerate investments in our community. We’re also excited by the new $14 million Weinbrenner Shoe Co. facility.”
