For groceries, Nicholson locals often drive to Shop 'n Save in Fairchance. About 3 miles away, Dollar General in Masontown also offers some necessities. Masontown's Betty Mae's Bakery offers signature pastries and espresso drinks. Fat Angelo's on Westwood Avenue is another area staple, offering Mountaineer pizza and breaded mushrooms.
