A suburban haven in south Orlando
Meadow Woods is a large community in Orlando with multiple subdivisions, shopping districts, schools and industrial zones. The area is highly accessible, with recent construction attracting new residents. "In Meadow Woods, you can move into a new community for less than if you were closer to downtown. Plus, the area is very convenient to Highway 417, Beachline Expressway, and the airport," says Melissa Vance, a Realtor with Mainframe Real Estate, who has 15 years of experience. In the northern corner of Meadow Woods, past the home developments, is a notable presence of manufacturers and warehouses. The industrial area is close to Orlando's massive Amazon distribution center.

Meadow Woods includes an array of subdivisions and housing developments. "There is a pretty large mix of older and newer homes in the area. Properties can list for as low as $350,000 to as high as $800,000," Vance says. Buyers will find several housing options, from attached homes from the 1980s to new dwellings built over the last five years. Most single-story homes range from 1,200 to 2,000 square feet, while some multistory dwellings span over 3,500 square feet. New townhouses stand inside the Chase Landing subdivision. Contemporary styles displaying a mix of architectural forms line the private streets of the gated residential enclaves, Windcrest At Meadow Woods and Reserve at Sawgrass.
