A community-oriented neighborhood in Menlo Park
A laid-back, leafy suburb in the heart of Silicon Valley, Flood Park offers access to an excellent school district, a sprawling community park and an easy commute to big Bay Area cities. It’s also a short drive to several downtown districts with distinguished restaurants and boutique shops. “There’s wonderful interaction between homeowners and the community in Flood Park,” says Nino Gaetano, a local third-generation Realtor with The Agency who grew up in the area and now lives moments away in downtown Menlo Park. “It’s got a great neighborhood feel; everyone knows their neighbors; people look after each other. There’s a lot of community spirit, so it’s a great place for kids to go during Halloween.” Located in tech-savvy Menlo Park, Flood Park is only a few blocks from Meta headquarters, the city’s largest employer.

Flood Park’s Flood Park
Flood Park’s eponymous park is the second oldest green space in San Mateo County. “A 21-acre park in Silicon Valley is a big deal because there’s not a lot of land left,” Gaetano says. “It has a brand new pump track. It’s getting kids out of the house and interacting with each other.” Surrounded by signature redwoods, kids ride bikes, scooters and skateboards on the park’s brand-new paved circuit. More improvements are coming to this special spot, such as a new playground and additional athletic facilities.

Flood Park residents can bike to Cafe Zoe on weekends for a morning coffee and a bacon, egg and cheese breakfast sandwich.
