Recreation options for Lindgren residents can be something in the neighborhood, like grabbing fishing gear and heading to the lake just steps from their front door. Arvida Park is another option, within walking distance from the neighborhood and next to Arvida Middle School. Visitors can play at the park’s multi-purpose grass field or stroll on the looping path. The park’s playground provides a place for kids to play. There’s also a picnic area with grills. However, visitors should consider that the park lacks restrooms and water fountains and has very little shade when planning outings. Limited public transportation availability
The Miami-Dade County Metrobus system has stops along their Western Dade route along 137th Avenue, which is not easily walkable from houses in Lindgren.
