"That's how it got the name, 'Middletown," says Hobbs. "It's in the middle." Cincinnati is 35 miles, or about 40 minutes, south, and Dayton is a bit closer—about 25 miles north. Neighborhoods like Creekview are popular amongst commuters and the CincyLink express bus stops at the Middletown Meijer on its way toward Queen City. It's also common for locals to work at nearby manufacturers like Cleveland Cliffs. Although there's a small urgent care in the neighborhood, Atrium Medical Center is the nearest hospital—it's also a major employer.
