Soccer fields, access to shopping and a namesake elementary school in Creekview

Hundreds of families travel to Jacot Park in Middletown, Ohio, for soccer matches every year. "People come in from out of state…the motels are jammed," says Coldwell Banker Heritage Realtor Bill Hobbs, adding that tournaments like Spring Blast and Midwest Soccer Classic are major boosts for the city's economy. The fields at Jacot Park anchor Creekview, a primarily residential neighborhood a little less than 4 miles from Middletown's historic downtown. Ranch-style houses built throughout the 1950s line quiet streets beside the 17-acre park, and Creekview's namesake elementary school is within walking distance. Groceries, household necessities and fast food options are also a few blocks away. According to Hobbs, the historic Rust Belt city is in the midst of an upswing. "It got a little slow during Covid, but there's a lot of medical facilities coming in… They're repurposing the old mall." Neighborhoods like Creekview have seen positive effects, and homes here sell weeks faster than the national average.
