Bordered by the Rock River, this village has a degree of separation from the city
At the southern edge of the Quad Cities, Milan is a small village south of the Rock River. “It’s a small, tight-knit community. It’s great for people who want to be part of a smaller town but still have access to everything the Quad Cities offers,” says local Realtor Lyndsi Eggers with Mel Foster Co. Milan is conveniently located near the major attractions and employers of the Quad Cities, but with its separation by the river, the village feels much quainter and more laid-back than the larger cities to the north. Residents can easily commute throughout the metro area but always have a quiet community to return home to at the end of each day.
