El Camino Real is the neighborhood's main way to get around the region. It continues north and merges with Interstate 280 near downtown San Francisco, which is about 15 miles away from Capuchino. The SamTrans ECR bus route (ECR being short for El Camino Real) connects the neighborhood to the Daly City Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) station in the north and the Palo Alto Transit Center in the south, which has a Caltrain commuter rail line connection. Less than 3 miles away, the San Francisco International Airport has more than 130 direct flights to destinations including Seoul, Dubai, Paris and a number of U.S. cities. San Bruno City Park, the city’s largest green space, is about a mile north of the neighborhood. Thirteen picnic areas are scattered throughout, along with two playgrounds, three baseball diamonds, four tennis courts and a trail that leads to the nearby Junipero Serra Park. South of the neighborhood, a playground, a swing set and chess tables sit under trees that bloom with delicate pink flowers on the slope of Green Hills Park.The Green Hills Country Club boasts an 18-hole course designed by notable golf architect Alister MacKenzie and has a vantage of the San Francisco Bay. Established in 1930 as a social and athletic institution, membership fees include access to outdoor tennis courts, a heated outdoor pool and an active social calendar.
