Midcentury homes, common features and price comparisons

Midcentury ranch-style homes make up the majority of local builds, along with Cape Cods and colonials. Many have been updated with renovated kitchens and finished lower levels. Hardwood floors beneath the main living areas are a frequent find, and fenced backyards with two-car garages appear regularly. The median sale price is in the mid-$200,000s, with homes generally ranging from around $100,000 to the mid-$300,000s. This generally puts the neighborhood on par with Florist Hill, but less expensive than Calumet Farms. On the other hand, it’s also generally more expensive than Menomonee River Hills East, Silver Spring and Mill Valley.
