Nash Park is a walkable northwest side neighborhood with a park

In a quiet part of northwestern Milwaukee, Nash Park is a neighborhood that shares a name with the green space at its center. Families can play on the park’s soccer field and playground right next to the Milwaukee German Immersion School, known for having the first language immersion program in Wisconsin. In Nash Park, you’re within walking distance of plenty of local community spaces and businesses, and only a short drive or bus ride from the many commuter and commercial centers of Wauwatosa and downtown Milwaukee.

Single-family homes in a quiet part of the northwest side

Ranch-style homes and Cape Cods line Nash Park’s residential blocks, many with brick exteriors and picture windows. Buyers can also find the occasional larger Colonial Revival house. Detached garages are common throughout the neighborhood, as are fenced backyards with patios. “It’s quaint, quiet, almost like a little hidden pocket,” says Realtor Nolan Knopf of Keller Williams Realty. “There’s not much noise, not much activity, and you’re a stone’s throw away from downtown, Wauwatosa and all the good stuff without paying the premium price.”

Prices typically range from the upper $100,000s to the mid-$300,000s. You can find fixer-uppers in the lower $100,000s. Nash Park has a median single-family home price in the mid-$200,000s. That’s lower than nearby Kops Park and Saint Aemilian's, but higher than Dineen Park. It’s on par with Arlington Gardens.
