Shady streets and spacious lawns 8 miles from downtown
Skyland Park is known for its shady streets and well-built homes, where commuters come for a relaxing suburban atmosphere 8 miles from downtown. "People come here for the quintessential Mobile suburb look, with majestic live oaks and large, secluded lawns," says Hanna Rudzinsky, Realtor for 4 years in Mobile with PropTek LLC. Residents enjoy the charming atmosphere while taking an evening stroll on the sidewalk in front of spacious, grassy lawns. Most of the neighborhood is well-established with 1960s homes, but there are a few newer streets. The ranch-styles and Colonial Revivals range from $250,000 to $450,000.
