Vocational Technical programs through Penn Cambria High
Students may start at Penn Cambria Pre-Primary, which gets a C-plus from Niche, for kindergarten, before going to Penn Cambria Primary, which also receives a C-plus, for first and second grade. Penn Cambria Intermediate serves grades three and four with a C-plus, and Penn Cambria Middle serves fifth through eighth grades with a C-plus as well. Penn Cambria High earns a B-minus and is partnered with the Admiral Peary Vocational Technical School, which provides students with hands-on experience in fields including automotive technology, horticulture and welding.

The farm also has an ice cream shop with special flavors like Georgia peach and red raspberry truffle. While there are no grocery stores or dining in the township, residents can drive 3 miles east to Cresson for Shop ‘n Save and Rite Aid. There are also popular local restaurants like Vito’s for pizza and Cresson Springs, which has been serving breakfast and American classics since 1985. “Everything is homemade. Their pies are great,” says Hess.
Rite Aid is in neighboring Cresson for Munster residents pharmacy needs.
