The neighborhood is walkable, with sidewalks and crosswalks at busy intersections, providing safe routes for families walking to Oak Meadows Elementary School. STEM pathways offered at Liberty High

Menifee Union School District has a B-minus rating on Niche and enrolls over 11,000 students. Oak Meadows Elementary School has a B grade, and Bell Mountain Middle School has a B-plus grade. Downtown Murrieta hosts various events, including farmers' markets, craft fairs and Movies in the Park during the summer. "The city also has a big Memorial Day event. The field is about the size of a football field but square and gets filled with many flags across the field," Tracy Bernal says.

Commuting to Orange County and San Diego

Interstates 215 and 15, known locally as the 215 and the 15 freeways, are the main thoroughfares for getting around. Many residents commute to Orange County or San Diego, under 85 miles away, with commutes that take up to 2 hours. "On the freeway, it's only about 15 to 20 minutes to the San Diego County line. Most people are going beyond that, heading to downtown San Diego. Escondido is probably 50 minutes from here," Shane Bernal says. John Wayne Airport is a 60-mile drive.
