Local vendors like A.J. Guzman, Cedar Rustic Fence and Rainmakers create easier ways for neighbors to stay up to homeowners association standards by offering exclusive reduced rates to community members. Four bedrooms and between two and a half and four bathrooms are standard among Harmony Grove homes; prices start at around $625,000 and range up to $800,000 for pond views or recent interior upgrades.

Exploring Clow Creek Greenway
“A part of Clow Creek runs through the back of the neighborhood, separating it from the community next door,” Burns says. This greenway contains acres of grassland with a waterway pooling into two ponds that attract water fowl. Meanwhile, A. George Pradel Park provides other necessities of a suburban green space: a clean playground, picnic area and baseball and soccer fields. The award-winning Tamarack Golf Club sits a mile away, with 2 18-hole championship courses available seven days a week.

Navigating Indian Prairie CUSD 204
Schools closest to Harmony Grove are in the nationally recognized Indian Prairie Community Unit School District 204, which ranked 36 in Niche’s 2023 Best School Districts in America. Most little ones start their education at Kendall Elementary School, which maintains an A-plus Niche grade. Afterward, students can attend Crone Middle School, which scores an A, and take electives for the modern learner such as technology and digital media. Neuqua Valley High School ranked in US News & World Report’s top 20 best high schools in Illinois, and also earns an A-plus from Niche. Longtime Naperville native Ryan Risky is a 2013 graduate of the high school and says the rigorous academics helped him ease into college coursework. “The high schools in the district are better than the rest,” Risky says. “They had a lot of electives. Courses were easier in college than high school in some cases.”

Connecting with other Harmony Grove residents through annual events
Besides being a source for babysitting inquiries and posts about lost items, Harmony Grove’s active Facebook page also helps residents find out about events happening throughout the Naperville area. The Indian Prairie Educational Foundation hosts an annual silent auction, with prizes ranging from trips to art to golf club memberships—all to enrich educational opportunities in the district. Harmony Grove kids gather to hunt for eggs every Easter, while entire families compete in the home decoration contest hosted by the Harmony Grove Homeowners Association each December.
Getting around Naperville and heading into Chicago
Harmony Grove is only eight miles from the Route 59 Metra station, which has services to Chicago’s Union Station beginning at 4 am on weekdays. “It’s very easy and direct,” Risky says. “The only trouble might be parking on the weekends, but it’s only an hour train ride for those commuting downtown Chicago for work.” Drivers to Chicago have a 38-mile daily commute on Interstates 88 and 290 in store. Endeavor Health Edward Hospital is just 6.5 miles north of the community for emergency care. For commercial flights, folks are equidistant from Chicago Midway International Airport and Chicago O’Hare International Airport at about 33 miles in either direction.

Naperville's dense downtown sector sits about 8 miles north of Harmony Grove. With Route 59 running adjacent to the community, however, neighbors are within a mile or less of day-to-day essentials, locally-owned restaurants and chain favorites. Johnny’s Red Hot satisfies any hankering for hot dogs, gyros or Italian beef in a no-fuss atmosphere with plenty of space for families or folks on their lunch break.
