Streets here are adorned with colorful architecture and towering trees throughout the traditional Chicago road layout, offering ample room between homes and a know-your-neighbor atmosphere. Many homes were constructed in the early 1900s and restored throughout the years. “Naperville Historic District offers a mix of older homes and new construction with unique characteristics like rare cobblestone streets — In addition to being charming, the area does not feel like a planned subdivision at all,” says Rhonda Starr, Team Lead at The STARR Group. Home styles range from American Foursquares and Stick homes to multi-family townhouses and condominium complexes. While single family homes dominate the area, the Naperville Historic District offers multi-family options, like townhouses in Heritage Place or condos at Central Park Place. With a median sales price of $670,000, homes here range from the mid $200,000s for a two-bedroom Stick home to upwards of $1,500,000 for a four-bedroom American Foursquare.
