While there are some buses along IL-59 connecting to the grocery stores and shopping centers, Stillwater residents will likely need cars to get around Naperville, with downtown just 5 miles away. “This community is about a 15-minute drive to downtown Naperville,” Pearson says. “Which gives you access to Riverfront Walk, the eateries and shopping in downtown.” Downtown also has a Metra station that connects to downtown Chicago, about 38 miles away, but motorists can also use I-290 and I-88 to drive to work. Endeavor Health Edward Hospital is closer to downtown, 4.5 miles away and accessible via Book Road. For those traveling beyond Naperville and Chicagoland, Chicago Midway International Airport is the closest airport, 31 miles away and accessible along I-55.
Illinois Route 59 runs to the west of Stillwater, connecting it to grocery stores and shops.
Residents can use the Metra to be downtown Chicago in only 45-minutes.
