Luxury living for various budgets in Fiddler’s Creek
The Fiddler’s Creek community in Naples, made up of four distinct neighborhoods, features luxury homes alongside nature preserves, a resort-style pool and spa, a nationally ranked golf course and more. “This community is head-and-shoulders above a lot of other gated communities,” says Shamus Jones, a Realtor with Premier Sotheby’s International Realty. Residents can dine at community restaurants, take advantage of a busy social calendar and even join a club that gives access to a private beach in Marco Island and a marina on the Isles of Capri. The four neighborhoods here are Callista II, Dorado, Oyster Harbor and Hidden Cove. Jones says that while the area’s multimillion-dollar estates attract a lot of CEO retirees, condo options starting around $300,000 help clear the way for others to live there as well.

Coach, single-family and custom estate homes
Scenery alone brings buyers to Fiddler’s Creek. “Everybody comments when they drive in that it’s beautiful,” Jones says. “Fiddler’s Creek has put a lot of money into their landscaping over the years.” Housing options include coach, single-family and custom estate homes in four communities. Callista II features four floor plans with three-bedroom Mediterranean coach homes with water views. Dorado features three-bedroom modern coach homes. Oyster Harbor features two- and three-bedroom plans. Hidden Cove is home to custom estates with golf, water and nature preserve views. Prices vary greatly. $300,000 to $500,000 gets buyers modest coach homes, while $500,000 to $1 million can get a larger coach home or single-family option. For $1 million to $4 million, buyers can get large, often custom single-family homes, typically with Mediterranean architecture and lanais with pools. Many homes back up to the creek, but Jones says, “If you have a private boat drop, you can’t have much more than a 10- or 12-foot boat. It’s not a boating community.” Fiddler’s Creek has a 1 out of 10 CAP Index Crime Score, well below the national average of 4.

Endless ways to stay active and unwind
Nature preserves make up more than two-thirds of the community, providing a peaceful environment for fishing, birding, biking and walking. Another way to unwind is at The Spa at Fiddler’s Creek, offering facials, massages, exfoliating treatments and more. The community has six tennis courts and 18 pickleball teams, earning Naples its title as “Pickleball Capital of the World.” The neighborhood also has an expansive lagoon-style pool with waterslides, whirlpools and daily water aerobics classes. Fiddler’s Creek’s Arthur Hills-designed golf course ranks in Golfweek’s top 100 residential golf courses. The community’s creek only allows small boats, so for boating and beaches, residents typically head to Marco Island, less than 10 miles away. Residents can join the Tarpon Club, which offers access to a private beach on Marco Island and a marina on the Isles of Capri.
