The neighborhood offers a collection of Spanish and Mediterranean-style New Traditional single-family homes and condos. Properties on the water or the golf course usually sell for more than those without waterfront or fairway views.

The community is home to an HOA-funded private beach club with over 500 acres of lakes, a clubhouse with restaurants, and various sports and fitness facilities. The Quarry’s golf club requires a separate membership for the 18-hole Hurdzan-Fry-designed course. “There’s water on every hole, it’s a beautiful course,” Poppie says. Given Florida’s mild winters, the community’s outdoor amenities enjoy use year-round. In fact, the months between September and April are sometimes the busiest. “We have a lot of snowbirds who come down for six to eight months to escape the northern winters,” Poppie says. Gulf-front beaches in Bonita Springs are less than 20 miles away. The Quarry’s inland location lessens the risk of flooding despite the private lakes.

The two destinations are within 20 miles of The Quarry.
