Four Corners
Brand-new townhouse communities and quiet cul-de-sacs
Most homes in Four Corners are on the newer side, built within the last 20 years. However, prospective buyers will also find quiet cul-de-sacs with three-bedroom cottages dating back to the mid-20th century. These typically hover between $300,000 and $400,000 and come with attached single-car garages, quarter-acre lots and brick exteriors. Meanwhile, traditional townhouses start around $250,000 and can surpass $400,000 depending on bedroom count. New single-family homes with vinyl siding and two-car garages fall between $350,000 and $400,000 — here, small front yards are decorated with freshly planted trees and sidewalks line both sides of the street.Rentals at Four Corners Resort & Marina, fleets at Freedom Boat Club and a 50-foot slide
The Ship Store at Four Corners Marina sells everything from live bait to sunscreen — anything a mariner might need to restock. There's also a refueling station, and folks can rent kayaks or pontoons to take out on the 14,000-acre lake. "Our rental fleet is in the top 10% in the entire country," says Sarah Fly, Manager at the Marina Store, adding, "Most of our customers are from out of state — there's a lot of birthdays, bachelorette, bachelor parties — but we do have a big group of regular every-day customers." Nearby is the Freedom Boat Club, where members have access to on-the-water training and a network of over 400 similar clubs around the world. Hurricane Creek Recreation Area is just across the water, and truckers back down the ramp with their motor boats in tow. Mill Ridge Park is about 15 minutes away; here, a brand-new playground features a 50-plus-foot slide and web-like ropes courses. The park also hosts kite festivals, free outdoor yoga classes and family movie nights beneath the stars.Wings by the water at Scoreboard and restaurants along Murfreesboro Pike
Live bands play on the weekends at Scoreboard Bar & Grill, a waterfront restaurant at Four Corners Resort & Marina. During football season, cheer on the Titans while enjoying a plate of chicken wings, order from their menu of draft beers or try out a "Fish Bowl" cocktail. "They have an all-you-can-eat crawfish buffet on Saturdays and really good music over there too," says Fly. Drive along Murfreesboro Pike to find a collection of small churches, extended-stay motels, storage units and restaurants. Good Times Street Food Taqueria parks outside Lewis Market, and Fat Boy's BBQ is a family-run stop where loaded potato skins are served alongside ribs and banana pudding. For breakfast, stop by Donut Time to order a dozen — try the cinnamon rolls, apple fritters or vanilla cream-filled donuts. Publix at Mt. View Marketplace is the go-to for groceries, but there are also specialty food suppliers like Arabic Supermarket, La Familia Supermercado and Eko African & Caribbean Market and Restaurant.Earn industry credentials through the Academies of Nashville System
In Four Corners, students can start their public school education at Mt. View Elementary before moving on to J.F. Kennedy Middle School in fifth grade. Last stop is Antioch High, which belongs to the larger Academies of Nashville system; all three schools earned C grades on the educational review site, Niche. At AHS, options include the Academy of Engineering and Automotive Technology, The Tennessee Credit Union Academy of Business & Finance, the Academy of Hospitality & Design and the Academy of Teaching & Service. There are multiple pathways within each academy, and students have the opportunity to earn industry credentials and seek dual enrollment at Nashville State Community College.Tanger Outlets along Cane Ridge Parkway
Over 60 retailers—everything from Pottery Barn to Ugg to Old Navy—can be found within Tanger Outlets, which opened along Cane Ridge Parkway in October 2023. It's also home to a giant guitar for photo ops, a popular playground and TailGate Brewery, where visitors sample drafts with names like "Peanut Butter Milk Stout" and "Juice Wizard" on the outdoor patio. From here, AMC Antioch isn't too far away. It's a go-to on rainy summer days when boating isn't an option.Travel north along Interstate 24 into Nashville
Downtown Nashville is a little over 15 miles — about 30 minutes — north of Four Corners along Interstate 24, and there's minimal public transit. Traffic tends to back up around rush hour, and it can sometimes take over an hour to drive home at 5 p.m. Nashville International Airport is about 8 miles away, offering direct flights to approximately 100 unique locations, and residents can access medical care at TriStar Century Farms ER near Tanger or TriStar Southern Hills Medical Center, a larger facility 10 miles away. Tennessee Route 171 carries drivers out of the neighborhood and over Percy Priest Lake into Long Hunter State Park, and Route 41 leads to Smyrna's historic downtown. Four Corners’ CAP Score rests at a 6 out 10; this is largely attributed to higher-than-average rates of motor vehicle theft.
