Needville provides a small-town atmosphere near Houston's suburbs
Needville is a small city of over 3,000 people southeast of the Houston Metro Area. It has a small downtown area but is also growing its housing stock as new home communities have started to be built. Needville also has plenty of local green spaces and is close to Brazos Bend State Park and various shopping destinations in Rosenberg and Sugar Land. The community also has some job centers, namely oil and gas wells, farms and ranches surrounding its downtown.

Restaurants are primarily along Highway 36 or Farm-To-Market Road and include a mix of chains and locally owned spots. Pub 36 serves wings, burgers and sandwiches. The Jay Café sells steaks, salads and seafood. Star Asian Cafe has Chinese fare.
Boutique stores are downtown along with Lowe’s Market, while dollar stores are along Highway 36. More Big Box shopping options are at the Brazos Town Center, 13 miles northeast in Rosenberg.

Intestate connections and medical centers are nearby
Currently, the city has no public transit connections and is car-dependent. However, Fort Bend County’s transit system does have a pilot program serving the area. Highway 36 connects to Interstate 69 in Rosenberg, roughly 10 miles north. Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport is 50 miles northeast, while George Bush Intercontinental is 60 miles north. Needville has several clinics, but OakBend Medical Center is 14 miles north in Richmond.
