Residents can also shop for fresh, organic products at Buckland Farm Market, a family-owned business serving the area since 1986. Gainesville hosts Ross, Wegmans, Lowe’s and other big-box retailers just a few miles east for more retail options. For a little over $600,000, there are four-bedroom colonials that were built in the 1990s, while quite a few more ranch-style homes go for about $700,000, including brick houses on 10-acre lots. “Most properties are on private wells and septic [systems] as opposed to public water and sewer,” says Matt Megel, a Realtor and founding partner of the CAZA Gainesville team.
