It sells cupcakes, cookies, cakes and seasonal specialties, plus custom cake orders. The B-Line Market is a local grocery store option that’s more well-stocked than its small size might suggest. For additional grocery needs, Target is about a mile away and Hy-Vee is 3 miles away. Loma Bonita, a Mexican grocery store and bakery, sells both groceries and some hot food items, like tacos and burritos, and egg dishes for breakfast. Or on nights when locals don’t feel like cooking, Jin’s Chow Mein is a nearby Chinese restaurant that’s been around since 1958. It serves classics like noodles, chow mein, plus a variety of chicken, pork and shrimp entrees. Carmack says one of the advantages to this neighborhood is being closer to additional retail and restaurants in nearby Maple Grove.
