Boat lovers will enjoy Norfolk Harborfest, a celebration of boats and their impact on the city of Norfolk. Stellar sports at Lake Taylor High
Students in Camellia Shores begin their education by attending Larrymore Elementary, before moving on to Azalea Gardens Middle, and finishing up at Lake Taylor High School. According to Niche, these schools scored grades of C-plus, C, and C, respectively. Residents of Camellia Shores are right near the beach, making strolls on the sand a daily possibility. The Norfolk Botanical Garden is just a short walk or even shorter drive away. Featuring several walking trails, the garden makes a great spot to appreciate the greenery.

With Interstate 64 also nearby, the neighborhood makes traveling — and getting back home — easy. Norfolk International Airport is also just a quick drive away. Don’t worry about noise pollution though, because Kennedy says,“In all my time around the area, even though it’s close to the airport, I don’t think I’ve ever heard it get loud.”
