An evolving neighborhood in North Little Rock
Homebuyers looking for the excitement of city life in Little Rock and North Little Rock may not think of East Argenta first. The community is filled with older homes and has few parks and restaurants to call its own. But the neighborhood’s proximity to both cities’ downtown areas means acclaimed amenities are just minutes away, and the community itself is beginning to change. “There has been so much rebuilding around here, new apartments, reviving old homes and so on,” says Steve Clemons, a local Realtor with The Clemons Team. “And the city has been working on a lot of beautification projects, too. They put out flowers and that sort of thing. So people are starting to move back after a period of deterioration now that we’re getting so many updates.”
