Hyland notes, “It’s a very friendly place to live; you’ll often see people riding golf carts to get around.” She adds, “It just feels like a step back in time.” Real estate prices vary significantly throughout the area, ranging from cozy three-bedroom ranch-style homes that cost in the $500,000 range, to custom-built waterfront estates in the multi-millions.

In the heart of the community is the North Palm Beach Country Club, home to an expansive 37,000-square-foot clubhouse that is central for community-led events, hosting a wealth of amenities. People head to the Promenade shopping plaza to watch their favorite team play at Miller’s Ale House, or to grab a quick meal on the go. They can buy fresh produce, fruits and other groceries from Publix. Residents tend to flock to Park Avenue BBQ Grill for their ribs and other smokehouse options. Frigate's is a seafood restaurant with waterfront views.
Of course, many residents choose to spend their day at the beach, which is just minutes away. There are several outdoor areas around the community, including the expansive Macarthur Beach State Park, a hub for waterside activities, hiking and wildlife viewing.
