Rural area less than five miles from the water
Woods Pond embodies its name well, with all kinds of foliage covering the landscape. Residents choose the Woods Pond neighborhood of Norwalk for its quiet location and natural settings, features that are often hard to find within the New York metropolitan area. “It definitely has a rural feel,” says Susan Hanson, the Sales Vice President for the Hanson Team with William Raveis Real Estate. “But if that’s what you’re seeking, this is a pretty place.” The natural areas that surround the Woods Pond may give the neighborhood its remote feeling, but residents are just about five miles from the Long Island Sound, three miles from downtown SoNo and a mile and a half from downtown Norwalk.
