Transportation access and competitive pricing in Coliseum
Coliseum is an East Oakland neighborhood surrounded by transit hubs, event venues and busy roadways. “It’s very convenient for people to get to work because of the BART — a lot of buses meet up at the BART station too,” says James Garrett, broker with Better Homes Realty, who has lived in Oakland for about 60 years. “It’s also close to the freeway entrance.” In addition to its commuter convenience, Coliseum’s housing tends to be competitively priced, with sales often falling well below the city’s median.
