The restaurant also has an outdoor event space large enough to hold fundraisers and rehearsal dinners. La Esquina specializes in authentic Mexican tacos. Choose from chicken and steak tacos. Residents can head to Foothill Square for groceries and shopping. They can shop at Ross or Rainbow and get something to cook for dinner at Foods Co.

Toler Heights residents are less than a mile from Oakland Zoo, home to more than 850 native and exotic animals. You can take the gondola up the hill of the California Trail, where you can see the beauty of the Bay Area. The zoo includes five play zones for children to run, jump and explore. The petting yard is where kids can meet the goats and sheep up close.

Residents of Toler Heights live less than 5 miles from Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum, home of the Major League Baseball team, the Oakland Athletics. Adjacent to the coliseum is the Oakland Arena, where you can see some of your favorite musicians perform live. Past performers have included Adele and Paul McCartney. In Toler Heights, scenic views of the Bay Area are an everyday thing.
