Small neighborhood, next to Omaha hot spot

Less than 2 miles from the bustling Benson, Benson Gardens gives buyers a chance to live near one of the hottest spots in town, without all the commotion. The small neighborhood is centrally located between Keystone and Benson, and its northern edge allows easy access to Greater Omaha. “The location is pretty unbeatable,” says Katie Huber, a Realtor with Keller Williams Elite Real Estate, who has been involved in real estate since she was 19 years old. “You can walk to places in Benson, which you can’t do in the western parts of Omaha. You have all the restaurants and nightlife a few blocks away, which is a huge draw.”

Midcentury homes with spacious lots

Shaded by mature trees neighborhood streets slope through Benson Gardens. Potential buyers can find raised ranch homes with garages and Craftsman bungalows that sit back off the road on compact lots. For those looking for maintenance-free living, Benson Garden has townhouses and apartment options as well. Prices start at around $220,000 for a two-bedroom bungalow, while a three-bedroom ranch will sell for around $245,000. “Everything is moving super-fast. If properties are priced right and updated, they move before the weekend most times,” Huber says.
