Small-town vibes with suburban amenities in Ona
Ona abuts suburban areas, but it isn't exactly a suburb. It's not exactly a rural community, either. Residents say this in-between space is what makes Ona special: They get to enjoy the recreational and social offerings of a remote small town, with the schools and housing options of a well-developed area. "From a national standpoint, you get a lot more bang for your buck here," says Realtor and appraiser Chuck Boggs III of River Valley Properties. "Your dollar is going to go farther. A $300,000 house here can get you 2,500 square feet on a nice piece of property, and the home has likely been updated."
