One of the largest planned communities in the region

Spanning over 8,000 acres and containing more than 20 neighborhoods, the Inland Empire's Ontario Ranch has transformed over the years from rolling farmland and fields to one of the largest master planned communities in Southern California. Since 2014, developers have brought their decades-long vision to life. Today, the community seamlessly blends its agricultural heritage – with farms and livestock remaining in the west – with an eastern corridor featuring homes, shops and parks, all part of a thoughtful design that will continue to evolve well into the next few decades. "The modern amenities and location near major highways and malls make it a convenient, comfortable place to live," says Vanessa O'Neill, Chino Hills Realtor with Realty Masters & Associates.

First gigabit community

New Traditional homes with Craftsman, Spanish and Mediterranean details are set into uniform subdivisions. Homes here were built anywhere between 2014 and the present day; older, three-and four-bedroom homes can cost between $800,000 and $900,000. Newly constructed five-bedroom homes typically fall within the $950,000 to $1.5 million price range, with lot sizes spanning 3,000 to 4,500 square feet. Townhouses and condos blend in with the single-family homes; one-bedroom condos are priced between $650,000 and $700,000 while two-bedroom condos can fall anywhere between $750,000 to $800,000 depending on square footage. Additional costs include a standard 2% tax rate and homeowners association fees. A gigabit community, Ontario Ranch enjoys internet speeds about three times faster than typical high-speed service.
The community continues to expand its housing stock. “As of summer 2024, we have about a year and a half to go before we complete the final section of the New Haven community,” says Vincenzo Cuccarese, real estate agent and owner of New Haven by Brookfield Residential. “This will be our sixth resort-style community. We’ve now expanded to the south side of the community where the resort-style amenities like swimming pools and spas."
