Buff & Flo — a yoga and fitness studio — is where locals go to unwind and relax. There’s also an Aldi’s and Wegman’s less than 6 miles away in West Seneca.
Most people rely on their cars to get around in Orchard Park. The neighborhood is also served by the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority which connects most of the Buffalo-Niagra Falls metropolitan area. There’s a bus stop near Orchard Park’s public library. And the nearest airport is Buffalo Niagara International Airport — 17 miles west along Interstate 90. Interstates 219, 20 and 20A cross through the neighborhood, making it a quick commute from Orchard Park to surrounding areas like Hamburg, East Aurora and Downtown Buffalo.
"Orchard Park has an annual ice cream social near the old train station every summer,” Bonilla says. Locals can also watch the Bills play at the Highmark Stadium from November to January. The stadium also hosts the Orchard Park Festival of the Arts each September. The festival hosts 200 vendors from across the Northeastern United States and has occurred since 1961.
Orchard Park has its origins in the 19th century when it was settled by Quakers. While it’s not necessarily classified as a historic neighborhood, it has historic properties, like The Jolls House Museum, where the enclave’s historic society has its headquarters. Orchard Park is also home to the Buffalo Bills and many players live in the neighborhood.
