Getting around the greater Provo area
Just six miles northwest of Provo and close to the city center of Orem, residents of Sharon are close to plenty of options for entertainment, work and food. Alpine District schools close to home
Thanks to the Alpine School District, students living in Sharon don't have to go more than two miles outside of Sharon to find highly-rated public options. Since Sharon Elementary recently closed, the next closest option for many is Cascade Elementary, which receives an A-minus rating from Niche. Older students can continue on to Canyon View Junior High and Orem High, which receive B and B-plus ratings from Niche. Home of the Tigers, Orem High has undergone major renovations since it was built in 1956 and offers plenty of athletic opportunities for its students, from volleyball and basketball to tennis and lacrosse.
