Meanwhile, Tresierras Supermarket is close at hand with regular groceries, everyday essentials and specialty Latin American products. Right within Oxnard Pacific is Berry's Best Produce Stand, where locals can pick up locally-grown fruits and vegetables, especially the locally popular California strawberries sold at the stand.
The California Strawberry Festival, held at the Ventura County Fairgrounds, is a beloved local event. The festival features over 40 food vendors, a ninja obstacle course, live music, several arts and crafts booths and an abundance of strawberry-inspired treats. The proceeds of the event go to more than 20 local charities, and the festival has raised over $4.5 million in the past.
When residents seek local entertainment, they head to Oxnard College's School for the Performing Arts. OC Live puts on live arts and culture programming with everything from music and dance to science, stories, art and more.
