A low-key community experience with commuting convenience
Sprouting out of the fertile Chester County countryside, Parkesburg is a small hamlet with easy access to the Philadelphia region. “It’s a pretty quiet and slow-paced town,” says Christopher Macey, Realtor with RE/MAX Direct. It's very community-centric, with residents coming together to celebrate holidays with activities, parades and get-togethers. At the same time, major nearby routes and a train station in the heart of town make Parkesburg a commuter-friendly destination for those who want to enjoy rural life with convenience – Philadelphia, Wilmington and Lancaster are all within an hour, while West Chester and Exton are much closer.

Celebrated brews and delicious desserts
Victory Brewing Company Parkesburg is one of numerous Victory locations in the region, and Macey points out it’s been a great addition to the community, saying “The brewery really helps draw more people to the area.” Serving up core beers as well as ones unique to the Parkesburg location, the brewery also features a deep food menu. Rocco and Anna’s Ristorante has been a long-time local favorite for thin-crust pizza and classic Italian dishes, while residents gather after Little League games or on warm summer nights at Bell’s Delites, a mom-and-pop ice cream stand offering milkshakes, specialty sundaes and more. To cook at home, locals grab necessities from Parkesburg Grocery Outlet or fresh and local from Hershey’s Farm Market, north of town. West Sadsbury Commons, also to the north, is home to national retailers and chain restaurants.
