Students attend Citrus County Schools
Students in Hernando are assigned to Citrus County Schools. Starting in Pre-Kindergarten, children attend Hernando Elementary School, which earns a B-minus from Niche. From there, students move on to B-graded Citrus Springs Middle before going to B-minus-graded Citrus High School.
