Suburban homes with spacious yards and a mix of classic styles
Pioneer Village is defined by slightly curved streets and small, rolling hills. With mature trees as backdrops, houses sit on grassy lawns with private driveways, giving the community a peaceful, suburban feel. The housing stock is a mix of ranch-style homes, French Provincial cottages, two-story Colonial Revivals and split-level builds. Many properties were built between the 1950s and early 2000s, featuring brick exteriors, backyard decks and attached garages. Prices usually fall between $200,000 and $500,000, with some subdivision homes requiring monthly HOA fees. “Houses here typically have more elbow room than in the city,” Burden says. “You get your own driveways and nice, deeper backyards, but there’s not a lot of turnover right now.” Burden also said most properties use private septic systems and are on city water.
It is very common for homes in Pioneer Village to be partially or fully brick.
