Piperton is rural city about 26 miles from Memphis
Piperton residents can enjoy a quiet life about 26 miles outside of Memphis. “You can live in Piperton and get the country feel and be close to everything in Collierville,” says Realtor Wendy Fortner with eXp Realty, who has worked in the area for about four years. “That neighborhood’s adorable and quaint, and I love it.” Part of the city’s charm comes from the fact that it is almost entirely residential. Locals must travel to the surrounding towns for shopping and dining options. Many people send their children to private schools, such as St. George’s Independent School, and the area is served by Fayette County Public Schools, which receive a C-minus from Niche.
