Pitman Grove’s historic cottages and Broadway Theatre history
Enjoy the historic surrounds and small-town charm of Pitman, a borough located in South Jersey along the Delaware River. The area was settled by a sect of Methodists in the 1870s, developing their camp in the area now known as Pitman Grove. Cottages and larger houses soon replaced the campground tents as the area became a proper town. The grove is now on the Register of Historic Places along with the Vaudeville-era theater along Pitman's vibrant business district, just a short drive from beautiful houses.

WCK Walls Elementary and Pitman High fuel borough pride

Closer to the Pitman Grove is Pitman Pump Track, where cyclists can zoom around a small dirt biking trail. Buy tickets for a show at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman, a renovated 1920s-era theater that plays host to musical productions, concerts and children's theater programs.
