Despite its location along State Route 4 and well within the urbanized heart of the East Bay, Pittsburg’s Woodland Hills neighborhood has the appearance of a leafy suburb. Its streets branch off from Leland Road and form cul-de-sacs or circles, each of them surrounded by single-story residences built in the 1980s.
