Old Shepard Place
Traditional ramblers and million-dollar golf course homes
Old Shepard Place is full of traditional brick two-story houses and ranch-style homes on mature tree-lined streets. Most homes were built in the mid-1980s and range from approximately $417,000 for a three-bedroom home over 1,800 square feet to over $1 million for a five-bedroom home over 5,500 square feet on the golf course. Houses are set back from the road, providing spacious front yards for landscaping or gardening. Multi-car garages are common in the neighborhood and often rear-entry garages, adding extra security and privacy. Residents enjoy large lot sizes, starting around 9,000 square feet and many stretching over a quarter acre. Most homes have fenced-in backyards with pools and large patios. The homes that back up to the golf course are usually larger and often have European-inspired features, like outdoor balconies or Tudor-style half-timbered facades. A dense canopy of mature oaks surrounds Old Shepard Place, allowing ultimate peace and quiet from city noise. Residents can easily walk to a park, shops and restaurants.Old Shepard Place schools make the grade
