Planned community along the tollway with commercial convenience
The neighborhood of White Rock Creek sits along the Sam Rayburn Tollway on the edge of the City of Plano. “It’s very family-friendly,” says Amy Gibbs, Realtor with United DFW. Ruth Borchardt Elementary School sits next to a public park, both located within walking distance in the neighborhood. With the tollway acting as the border of the community, residents can reach the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area in addition to Frisco and Plano amenities, such as libraries and medical centers; the Baylor Scott & White Medical Center is actually just across the tollway. “Overall, it’s just a really good community,” Gibbs says.

Planned New Traditional homes along the Rayburn Tollway
Large brick and stone houses with domed entryways—usually as tall as two stories—and windows sit on manicured yards. These homes were mostly built after 2000, although some homes were built in the 1990s. Most of the neighborhood consists of two-story New Traditional homes, with some single-story ones mixed throughout. Prices for the two styles range from $440,000 to $845,000. Homes typically have wooden backyard privacy fences and attached garages; some garages are accessed through backyard alleys. Some homes have been updated to more modern amenities as well. “You can’t get a new house, but you can get a completely renovated house, from top to bottom,” says Gibbs. There are some townhomes scattered throughout, with prices ranging from $349,000 to $539,000. Townhomes can look very similar to single-family homes, with stone facades and attached garages.
