Rural-style community with convenience next to East Bay regional parks

Foothill-Pleasanton is a scenic neighborhood within the East Bay city of Pleasanton, where expansive backdrop views of the hillsides bring in residential allure. The community is particularly highlighted by its balance between rural escape and convenience. While residents can enjoy acres of nearby fields, vast open valleys and forested trails, access to everyday amenities is easy with proximity to the main thoroughfare that borders the neighborhood. “The location just gives you access to so much,” says Patricia Woods, a local Realtor with Realty 1 Group Today who has over 20 years of real estate experience. “You’ve got highly rated schools and shops and the freeway all nearby.”

Ranch-style homes and Mediterranean designs

The wide, tree-lined neighborhood streetscapes feature nicely paved sidewalks and are filled with common housing styles such as Mediterranean and ranch styles. Contemporary townhouses are another option in Foothill-Pleasanton. Single-family homes range from $1.3 million to $4.6 million, while townhouse prices range from $805,000 to $1.2 million. Many homes were built as far back as the 1960s, but there are some newer constructions here as well. “It’s an established neighborhood, so there are mostly older homes that people tend to remodel when they buy,” Wood says. “And the homes are selling really quickly. I’d say they’re usually on the market for 6-10 days.” Home sizes vary from about 1,250 to 6,170 square feet, and lot sizes can range from 3,500 square feet to 1.3 acres.
