Pleasanton Heights is two miles from Interstate 680, which connects the neighborhood to San Jose, 30 miles south. There is a BART station 5 miles north of the neighborhood, with trains reaching Oakland in 45 minutes. Public buses stop on Kottinger Drive in the neighborhood. The Oakland International Airport is 24 miles west, and Kaiser Permanente Pleasanton Medical Center is 5 miles away.
