Plenty of room for activity on large lots in Corbin
Thanks to its location on the edge of Post Falls city limits, Corbin has a semi-rural feel with large lots that often have workshops or other outbuildings. The median lot size in the neighborhood is about 0.8 acres, giving homeowners plenty of room to own animals, store an RV or grow gardens. Some homes on the neighborhood’s east side are closer together, but the properties have mature trees and shrubs that add privacy and a natural feel to the community. Cape Cods, split-levels and ranch-style homes are common, and there are also manufactured homes scattered throughout the community. Prices tend to range between $500,000 and $770,000. There is a moderate flooding risk for some homes along the Spokane River on Breezy Way Road.Outdoor fun all around the neighborhood
Corbin Park is the main recreational draw to the neighborhood, situated on approximately 28 acres along the Spokane River. The park has a wide variety of activities for residents to enjoy. “The main thing at Corbin Park is probably the disc golf. That’s our only disc golf course we have in the city, so that’s pretty popular down there,” says Quinn. “It’s a more native park setting with a lot of native vegetation.” The park also has a softball field and picnic shelters. There are several points where visitors can access the river for kayaking, fishing or swimming. However, water activities are more popular in the late summer when the snowmelt has died down, and the river is calmer. The North Idaho Centennial Trail passes through the neighborhood, offering a spot for running, walking or cycling. This 23-mile paved trail stretches from the Washington state line to a point just east of Coeur d’Alene. Q’emiln Park is another Post Falls park about a 4.5-mile drive from the neighborhood, which Quinn says has one of the city’s most popular beaches. The 78.5-acre green space also has plenty of trails and rock climbing opportunities. Each June, Q'emlin Park hosts the three-day Post Falls Festival, with local vendors, adult refreshments and family-friendly activities.Exploring students' interests at Post Falls schools
Students in Corbin might attend Seltice Elementary School and River City Middle School, each rated a B-minus by Niche. Students can also participate in activities such as robotics club, ski and snowboard club and horticulture club.Driving I-90 or biking the Centennial Trail

Interstate 90 is in the neighborhood’s north end and offers a 3-mile drive to Post Falls or a 13-mile drive to Coeur d’Alene. The highway also provides a 23-mile drive west to Spokane, which has the region’s closest major airport. Northwest Specialty Hospital is about 4.5 miles away in Post Falls.Local favorites a short drive from Corbin
While the neighborhood is semi-rural, several stores and restaurants are within a short drive. Fast-food restaurants are located just across Interstate 90, including Subway and McDonald’s. Toro Viejo is a local Mexican restaurant known for its casual setting and dishes like fajitas and chile relleno. Downtown Post Falls is about 3 miles from the neighborhood and is home to longstanding local favorites like The White House Grill, a Greek-style building that serves Mediterranean and American fare. Groceries and home goods are available at the nearby Walmart on West Pointe Parkway.
