Pronghorn Ranch
Neighborhood in Prescott Valley, Arizona
Yavapai County 86315
Custom-builds designed by Pronghorn Homes
Pronghorn Ranch was developed by Pronghorn Homes, which offers three floor plans. "They’re still building new houses at this time," Turner says. "The HOA price isn’t super high, especially compared to other areas of Arizona. They also have an RV parking lot for people that live there." While all homes are single-story residences, their exterior designs vary greatly, as do lot sizes, which range from under 7,000 square feet to over 12,000. Smaller homes fetch between $440,000 and $574,000, while larger homes with more than three bedrooms range from $575,000 to $770,000. These residences sit along quiet streets flanked by sidewalks, pebbled front yards with colorful foliage and broad driveways. Antelope Drive serves as Pronghorn Ranch’s main boulevard, with residential side streets branching off and forming the occasional cul-de-sac.Community recreation in Pronghorn Ranch
Pronghorn Ranch’s social scene revolves around the community center. "It’s a great community, arguably the nicest community in Prescott Valley as far as the HOA is concerned," Turner says. Welcoming to both members and guests, the Pronghorn Ranch Clubhouse includes a lounge area with a television, a game room with tables for pool and cards and a large koi pond. "They have events during the summertime like concerts and a car show," Turner says. This center also includes a pool and a 24-hour gym that offers fitness classes to members, such as yoga, dance and water aerobics. Pickleball, tennis and basketball courts and a putting green let community members test and build their athletic skillsets. At Pronghorn Park, a baseball field, soccer field, tennis court and basketball courts invite sporty residents of all ages to engage in some friendly competition. In the past, the Mesa Futbol Club has practiced on the soccer field. Outdoor adventurers can travel up and down State Route 89A to rock-climb at Watson Lake Park or hike up Mingus Mountain and the surrounding trails.College-focused education at Bradshaw Mountain High
Coyote Springs Elementary School receives a B rating from Niche, while the brand-new Pronghorn Ridge Middle School – which will open for the 2024-2025 school year – is not yet rated. Bradshaw Mountain High School has a score of B-minus. This school has a strong emphasis on college prep, from its offering of AP courses to its college head-start program and its dual enrollment opportunities with Yavapai College.Highway access to Prescott
While Pronghorn Ranch lacks a public transport system, its location just off State Route 89 puts the city of Prescott within a 16-mile drive down the highway. Viewpoint Drive connects Pronghorn Ranch with the Prescott Valley Town Center and its campus of the Yavapai Regional Medical Center just 6.5 miles to the south.Culinary, cultural and cinematic experiences around Prescott Valley
Though Pronghorn Ranch does not have any shops of its own, this community is just a 7-mile drive up Viewpoint Drive to Prescott Valley Town Center. A Walmart, a Fry’s supermarket and a Safeway offer a variety of grocery options, while over a dozen chain restaurants like McDonald’s and IHOP line this plaza’s storefronts. Harkins Theatres shows both blockbuster movies and independent films. On the way to the town center, the Lindo Mexico Restaurante Mexicano on Viewpoint Drive serves authentic cuisine and margaritas in its festive interior. Toi’s Thai Kitchen specializes in pad Thai and curry bowls, and its embroidered, elephant-themed tablecloths add to this restaurant’s culturally immersive atmosphere.
