A city community with a sandy beach
Racine’s 12th Ward is a rarity: a city neighborhood with a beach. Part of an area that Racine residents know as North Downtown, the 12th Ward’s proximity to Downtown Racine makes its vibe feel more like a city than a beach. “The homes are nice and well-kept,” says Lyle Albro, sales director at Shorewest Realtors. “The zoo and the beach are popular attractions, and it’s not far from downtown.”
