Raleigh’s Greenway Trails flow through Glenwood

One of Raleigh’s most famous assets is Greenway Trails, 180 miles of paved trails that connect walkers, runners, and cyclists to parks, rivers, and neighborhoods. North Carolina Museum of Art features 40 galleries and outdoor sculptures, including one of a leafless silver tree called “Askew” by famed artist Roxy Paine. From downtown to the airport, it’s easy to get around in Glenwood

Most residents will drive cars to get around, but the city does offer bus services around the metro area. With peak traffic, residents heading downtown can easily get there in less than 15 minutes. Interstate 440 goes right through Glenwood, connecting drivers to Highways 70, 50, 54 and 1. Raleigh Durham International Airport is just 20 miles northwest of Glenwood.
