Laid-back, suburban living in Double Diamond, Nevada
Resting near the foothills of the Sierra Nevada Mountains just south of Reno, Double Diamond is a suburban oasis set apart from busier parts of the city. The neighborhood is a "Master-planned, tract home community with beautiful parks" says Reno resident Brent Copeland, a Realtor with the Nevada Real Estate Group, adding that Double Diamond is also close to lots of shopping and some of the best public schools in Reno. Because of this, Copeland recommends the neighborhood to "Young families and people looking to live a chill, laid-back lifestyle." Double Diamond is also close to not just shopping, but the rest of Reno, as residents can get downtown in less than twenty minutes along Interstate 580, making it a "great location to commute from," says Copeland. With "some of the best schools and shops in the area" and a "convenient location," residents of Double Diamond can enjoy peaceful, suburban surroundings, a family-friendly community and great mountain views at home.

Strolling through the community, homebuyers will find large, ornamental trees shading modest front yards and smooth sidewalks winding throughout Double Diamond, which are "perfect for kids to skateboard or scooter along," and wide, flat streets "so families can comfortably go on bike rides together," says Copeland. For those seeking a home in the neighborhood, two-bedroom, traditional homes with front gables and pastel-shaded exteriors sell for as low as $485,000 dollars, while larger, four-bedroom homes with up to 3,200 square feet and elegant, open designs can sell for as high as $895,000.
